Kirsi’s Bio
Kirsi Ide writes nonfiction and informational fiction children’s picture books that answer the strange questions kids ask about their bodies, health, and the hidden world around them. She holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a degree in International Area Studies from Brigham Young University. Her professional background includes public health and international development research with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Kirsi has worked extensively with children through library storytimes, teaching, and children’s programs. Her writing has appeared in The Friend, a children’s magazine.
